Welcome to WitFora (“Platform”), a social networking service designed to foster socio-intellectual collaboration, creativity, and community. By accessing or using WitFora, you agree to comply with these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you disagree with any part, you may not use the Platform.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing features (e.g., Groups, Marketplace, Stories), or interacting with other users, you confirm that:

- You are at least 18 years old (16 in the EU).

- You accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

- You will comply with all applicable laws and ethical guidelines.

3. Account Registration & Responsibilities

Account Creation

- Provide accurate, current information during registration.

- Safeguard your login credentials; you are responsible for all activities under your account.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

- Use false identities or impersonate others.

- Engage in harassment, hate speech, or illegal activities.

- Exploit vulnerabilities, spam, or disrupt Platform operations.

- Farm **Points** or manipulate the rewards system.

4. Content Ownership & Licensing

User-Generated Content

- You retain ownership of content (e.g., Blogs, Photo Albums, Movies).

- By posting, you grant WitFora a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute your content solely for Platform operations.

Prohibited Content

Do not upload/share content that:

- Violates intellectual property rights.

- Promotes violence, discrimination, or illegal acts.

- Contains malware or phishing links.

5. Features & Services

Points & Rewards

- Earn Points through eligible activities (e.g., Comments, Forums, Advertisements).

- Points are non-transferable and subject to revocation for abuse.

Marketplace & Transactions

- Buyers and sellers are solely responsible for Marketplace transactions.

- WitFora is not liable for disputes, fraud, or product quality.

Pro Packages

- Pro Membership subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled.

- Refunds are discretionary and processed per our Refund Policy.

6. Privacy & Data Use

- We collect and use data as described in our Privacy Policy.

- You control visibility settings for Last Seen, Timeline, and Nearby Users.

7. Termination

WitFora reserves the right to:

- Suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

- Remove content that breaches community guidelines.

8. Disclaimers

- The Platform is provided “as is”; we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

- We are not responsible for third-party content (e.g., Developer API integrations, Affiliate links).

9. Limitation of Liability

WitFora and its affiliates are not liable for:

- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

- Loss of data, revenue, or opportunities arising from Platform use.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Government of Nigeria and strictly in line with the United Nations Rights Council’s Guiding Principles on Business.

- Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, not class-action lawsuits.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
